Planning a visit



There is level access throughout the museum and swing doors at the entrance.

Toilet facilities, including for wheelchair users, available.
There are also baby changing facilities.
There is a hearing induction loop.Large print available on request.

The museum is an easy walk from any town centre car park or the railway & bus terminals.
Three-hour parking is available in Swan Road, behind the museum, but you must display a time disc in your vehicle. These are available from nearby shops, hotels and the museum and gallery.
A single parking bay for visitors with disabilities is available in Swan Road, by the Mercer Art Gallery, a short walk from the museum.
