Most of the collection came from Benjamin or 'Benny' Kent, a
farmer from
Tatefield Hall in Beckwithshaw on the outskirts of
Harrogate.
James Robert Ogden
A smaller range of objects was donated by James Roberts Ogden, a
Yorkshire-born jeweller.
